OXZO.com: A New Approach to an Old Domain
For over twenty years, OXZO.com has existed in one form or another, shifting and evolving as my interests and perspectives have changed. Now, I’m bringing it back with a new focus—an experiment in running a website as a solo creator, integrating elements of influencer culture while keeping it grounded in personal experience and independent thought.
This isn’t a large-scale operation with a team of writers, designers, and developers. It’s just me. One person, figuring things out as I go, sharing what I learn, and occasionally reflecting on the broader context of technology, personal growth, and the complexities of life. WordPress will be part of the foundation, but I’m also diving into more advanced aspects of web development, which means discussions about DevOps, backend structures, and the technical side of running a website efficiently.
Beyond the technical, there’s also a personal element to this project. I’m 56 years old. I’ve lived an interesting, often complicated life, shaped by major depression in my younger years and my place on the autism spectrum—something akin to ultra-high-functioning Asperger’s Syndrome. These are realities that have defined my path, and I know there are others out there with similar experiences. I want OXZO.com to be a place where those stories can be part of the conversation.
This site is also about persistence. I’m increasingly determined to earn an advanced degree before I die—something that feels like both a personal mission and a bucket list challenge. That determination will no doubt be reflected here as I document my journey through learning and self-improvement.
There’s also a simple but essential thread: my love for animals, especially cats. They’ve been a constant presence in my life, a source of comfort and curiosity, and I imagine they’ll make their way into these pages as well.
So, OXZO.com is back, but it’s not just another reboot—it’s a reinvention. A solo venture in experimentation, storytelling, and relentless curiosity. If any of that resonates with you, stick around. There’s more to come.
